Known as the Japanese Mercedes by Sir Alan Partridge, the lexus or lexi (singular) was one of the greatest luxury cars of the 1990’s.
6. Renault Clio Williams – 1995
The Renault Clio Williams was the first real “hot hatchback” and was often seen tearing down the motorways on way to illegal raves during the mid 1990’s.
7.Mercedes Benz A-Class 1998
“Oh lord won’t you buy me a Mercedes benz..” The A class finally made owning a Mercedes an affordable possibility during the late 1990’s.
8. Mazda MX-5
Whilst the MX-5 was first produced in 1989, it was during the 1990’s that this roadster made its mark.
9. Nissan Skyline GT-R – 1999
“The ultimate car for the playstation generation”, the Skyline GT-R could be tuned to achieve 1000bhp.
10. McLaren F1 – 1994
The Mclaren F1 had the ability to hit 241mph and even had a engine casing made out of 24 carat gold. Sadly there will never be a car like this again.
